My name is Thalia Gomez. I go to Ann Richards School and I am officially a 10th grader this year. I have 1 brother and 2 step sisters. I enjoy playing volleyball and soccer. Lastly I have joined color guard and went to band camp during the summer. I do enjoy it but it stresses me out a lot. Having to be outside in the sun after school, memorizing all my pages, and getting the choreography right/doing it on time. I joined color guard in the first place because it seemed cool to be able to do tricks with the flag and I wanted to get involved with the school.
In this school year we will be reading Get Me Out by Randi Hutter Epstein. I’m hoping to learn more about pregnancy and get to know how it developed over time. I think that by reading how pregnancy started, and then looking back to present day, will shock me because there has probably been many changes in the procedures used to give birth. Hopefully this information will be fun to learn about and I will gain more knowledge about it.
