Hello, we are going to be debating about how women shouldn’t abort a child that might end up having a birth defect. We believe that a child with disabilities are no less than human beings and we are against abortion.“It’s worth noting that the high rate of women who elect to abort based on disability doesn’t mean that children with disabilities are being eliminated from society.”according to an article.
Yes, it’s hard to go through hard times for example your child having mental delays but there’s many other children with disabilities that go through some similar ways of living life. There are blood test taken so that the women can know about the genetic disorders that their child may have. If a women knows about what kind of birth defects their child may have because of the new technology we have, then the technology can help the child with the disabilities than ending their poor innocent lives. They should be able to live and experience a life like us.
Most of the babies with birth defects are born with Down Syndrome it’s a more common birth defect. There are many stories of children with Down Syndrome that can be treated and resources that can help kids with Down syndrome and their family.“Children born with Down syndrome do receive some financial assistance from the Social Services Administration”- Therefore there shouldn’t be a big problem for financial care and of course the parents will have to waste some money on necessary things for a child with disabilities. There are certain disabilities that doesn’t stop them to be healthy.
According to some sources birth defects accounts for about 6% of all abortions and there are some women taking antidepressants or many different kinds of prescription drugs have shown to cause birth defects. Some birth defects in some cases are to be 100% fatal to the baby, but that doesn’t mean you should automatically have an abortion because if you are told that your baby probably has one of fatal birth defects. One thing you should know is that sometimes medical test could end up being wrong caused by a lab error according to a resource. There might be lab errors which is a fact that women that want to abort a child that might have birth disorders shouldn’t be allowed to abort because it might be a healthy child that she has in her womb and she wouldn’t know if it actually has birth defect, which in our opinion we don’t agree with aborting a human being.

Hello,
You have a well written summary. Unfortunately, I do not agree with what you stand for. I think abortion should be allowed when it comes to birth defects. I feel like some of your information was not factual. You stated:
“Children born with Down syndrome do receive some financial assistance from the Social Services Administration”- Therefore there shouldn’t be a big problem for financial care and of course the parents will have to waste some money on necessary things for a child with disabilities
Parents with children that have birth defects have to pay 12 times more than a regular child. It is a big problem, and many parents don’t have enough financial stability to go thought that. Do you want a child to suffer because of their disability and not be able to live a live their parents cannot afford?
I thought this summary was clear on what on what you think. Good job

Hello, Your blog post was written very well but I disagree with your message. I strongly believe in women’s rights and what you stand up for prevents women from having control of their own bodies. Also many of your facts and pictures are inaccurate. Such as the way they perform an abortion, they don’t mutilate the fetus’s body parts they use a vacuum like machine to evacuate the uterus. Other than that nice job on the blog post and I look forward to debating you guys!
