First-Aid Makerspace Coming To A Stop – By Savannah Ojeda

I am a part of the First-Aid and Makerspace group. We are trying to make a first-aid area for the makerspace that will help benefit the many injuries that could happen. However our plants have come to a halt after finding out Oren (the guy who overlooks the makerspace) has recently bought a first-aid kit for the makerspace.

We have talked with Oren and have asked to meet with him. We are currently waiting for his response. Even though there is a first aid kit in the classroom, as a group we have brainstormed about different ideas to help add or make what we wanted to do better and to accommodate the first-aid kit that is already present.

This is one of the ideas that we had saw of a first-aid kit and started coming up with different things that we could possibly do.

There is a lot of frustration within the group because we these situations are pushing us back on the things that we need to get done in a timely manner. Going off of our rule brick we were supposed to have got the measurements and thought about sketches that could have been done. We also have started our research but only on things that are going inside of the first-aid kit.

We have taken this time to research different ideas that we could possibly do. We thought it would be best to have more than one first-aid kit in the room, something that is small, easy accessible, and will be easy for any person to use.

I hope that our project starts coming together because this is really annoying with all of the things that is going on right now. I feel as though we are trying to still find our way with in our project and see what we can make happen. I don’t want to give up on this project with the makerspace because the first-aid kit will be beneficial and something that is important.

Hopefully by my next blog post we will have everything together and know what we are doing.
