Determination is key!- SEAS -Stephanie

Today in class was a workday and as of last class our materials have already been ordered. Currently the biomed members have started the final presentation slideshow, and the engineering members have still been working on our 3D model.

Sofia has been working on google sketch up, and I have been working on auto CAD. Recently we have both been running into complications with the programs and our design. I have been having trouble trying to delete this one part that I had previously added, but decided to just round the edges of the top of the jell/cushion beads in the heel instead of just adding this torus that will not delete for some reason. I am thinking that I might have to redo the heel section as a whole… but I will try to brainstorm through it before I do that. I will insert a picture below of the section that I need to be removed. I am also still working on the arch webbing a bit more in order to make it mesh better as a whole, it is still a work in progress but it will get there. As far as Sofia’s design she is having a few complications with the webbing and its structure, as well as just google sketch up functions. Overall we are both brainstorming and working off of each other to solve problems and make our 3D design. The same goes for the biomed girls preparing our final presentation and taking information from both previous design proposals.

Other than working and problem solving with each other we did a group evaluation and will be hard at work next class as well!! Also OSHA training is under way individually, and by this point be about half way done.
